As Apollo continues to grow, we are excited to welcome two new starters to our team. Joining us this month are Amy Budgen as our new Operations Support and Kathy Wagner as Senior Credit Controller. Each brings a wealth of experience, unique skills, and fresh perspectives that will undoubtedly enhance our services and client relationships.
Meet Amy:
Born and raised in Manchester, Amy brings a unique blend of skills and experience to the team. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a strong background in Customer Service and Administration, she’s perfectly equipped to enhance our operations.
After spending the last nine months on an adventure across Australia, Amy returned home ready to embrace a new challenge. What caught her eye? The dynamic world of invoice finance.
“Invoice finance caught my interest as it’s quite different from anything I’ve done before,” said Amy. “I got a really nice vibe about Apollo at the interview and everyone I met was super friendly.”
Outside of work, Amy is passionate about yoga and loves immersing herself in her favourite films—she’s a true film buff at heart. We can’t wait to have Amy on board and are eager to see the positive impact she will bring to our team!
Meet kathy:
Originally from South Africa, Kathy has been in the UK for nearly 20 years. She brings extensive experience in finance and credit control, having worked in roles across the construction, vehicle finance, and manufacturing sectors. She even has previous experience in invoice finance, making her a perfect fit for our team.
“Joining a growing company with development opportunities was important to me, but what really drew me to Apollo was the great company culture,” said Kathy.
When she’s not at work, Kathy is likely to be found exploring countryside trails with her walking group or enjoying her favourite sports as a keen spectator.
We’re absolutely thrilled to have Amy and Kathy on board and can’t wait to see the positive impact they’ll both have!
