We are thrilled to share the news that Angie Briggs has joined Apollo as our new Business Development Manager. Angie will play a key role in expanding our firm’s network of introducers and helping more businesses secure the funding they need.
This comes at a critical time for the SME sector, which has faced unprecedented challenges in the past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic impact. Many SMEs have struggled to survive, adapt, and innovate in the face of lockdowns, social distancing, and changing consumer behaviour. Apollo is committed to supporting SMEs as they recover and grow, by providing flexible and tailored funding solutions that suit their specific needs and circumstances.
Angie has a wealth of experience in financial services, spanning over 15 years. She was previously Sales Director at Optimum SME Finance, where she led a team of business development managers and helped hundreds of SMEs access finance for various purposes, such as working capital, asset purchase, and growth. She has also worked at Barclays Sales Finance and Ultimate, where she gained valuable insights into the SME market and its challenges and opportunities.
Angie says: “I am very excited to be part of Apollo again and to use my expertise to help businesses bounce back from the pandemic. I have always admired Apollo’s vision and values, and I look forward to working with their talented and passionate team.
John Day, Sales Director of Apollo, adds: “We are very happy to have Angie on board. She has a proven track record of delivering fast and effective funding solutions to businesses with ambitious plans.
Apollo is dedicated to meeting our clients’ needs with empathy and transparency. Angie shares this vision and values and knows how to build strong relationships with businesses and their advisors. We are confident that Angie will be a great asset to our firm and our clients, and will help us achieve our mission of supporting SMEs in their journey to success.
